Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, and her husband, JJC Skillz, have been arraigned at the Magistrate Court in Ogba for hosting a party during the COVID-19 lockdown.
They were charged to court on Monday for breaching the Lagos Infectious Diseases Regulations 2020 which prescribes a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine or both for persons found guilty of hosting gatherings or flouting the lockdown order.
The actress hosted a house party on Sunday to celebrate her husband’s 43rd birthday.
JJC Skillz, whose original name is Abdulrasheed Bello, was also in court with her.
